Fuck Wealth Inequality

Description

I have been meaning to burn a Dollar for a while to take this photo, but have been too broke to aford to do so.  I finally said, "Fuck it!" and burned one anyways.

I first heard of the term "Wealth Inequality" back in 2011 when the Occupy Wall Street movement was getting their faces beat in on the TV news for trying to protest against all the greed and corruption there is in this world.  I understand that there is the "1%" of the US population that owns 99% of all the wealth in this country and they make over 20% of the US Gross National Product every year.  They are our "Classless Elite" who rule over us without a royal title such as Duke, Count, etc.  They get respect just because they have a large pile of money.  Money that gives them power in our society, since everything has an arbitrary number price attributed to it.  The rich get better treatment because they have money which grants them respect.  Actress Lindsay Lohan only had to spend a half hour in jail for her DUI because she has money.  O.J. Simpson was able to get out of a murder charge because he had a lot of money and could afford a "Dream Team" of lawyers to get him off.  Latter after he lost the Civil Case against him for his wife's murder he was broke.  So when he committed armed robbery he got a life sentance because he no longer could aford a "Dream Team" of lawyers.

I remember taking a "History 17A" class in college which was about US History from colonial times up to the American Civil War.  The instructor was an old Christian Minister who was also a History professor.  He informed the class I was in about how the Christian mindset changed in the American colonies during the 18th Century.  There was a shift from the older Puritan mindset of "Predestination" to earning one's way into heaven.  The History Professor said that the concept of Capitalism had help taking root in the American Colonies due to Predestination.  In the Predestination mindset God has already chosen who will get to go to Heaven.  Further more, God shows who is already chosen by favoring them in life.  Somebody who is rich and has a lot of money is successful in this world because they already have God's favor.  Those who are poor and suffering in this world are not the chosen and are already destined to Hellfire and Damnation.  I believe that after the 18th Century shift in the Christian mindset from Predestination to doing Good Works to get God's favor to go to Heaven, there are still lingering mental Predestination ideas applied to Capitalism.  I think people with a huge pile of money are viewed as good because they are obliviously seen as successful in this Life/World.  I think they get respect that they are not necessarily deserving.  Gangster Al Capone was viewed as successful until he went to jail for not paying his taxes.  I really think that people in general should rethink things and not respect someone just because they have a lot of money.  Money isn't everything, but I think it is what people focus too much on in this world.  All that seems to matter to most people is getting the biggest pile of money one can get in life.  Money equals power in this world because it allows a person to be able to do things in our society.  There are a few "Haves" who can do a lot, and a lot of "Have Nots" who are poor and can't do things in this world because they don't have any money.

I remember walking by two people talking at a flea-market.  One guy was talking to his friend about someone he didn't like.  The guy talking was saying that he was better than the person he dissliked because he made a higher paygrade than that person.  The amount of money he was earning at his job allowed him to further diss the person that he viewed as not as good as him.  I also on another occasion was working cleaning a restroom at a low paying minimum wage job.  One customer said to me, "This is why you get an education."  I replied to him that "I have an education, I have a 4-year history degree from a college."  He was applying his social economic predigest against me because I was working at a minimum wage job.  I think wage amounts for working allow people to mentaly devalue others that make less than they do.

I also don't like how the Federal Reserve prints money with debt applied to it.  Every Dollar printed has more than a Dollar's amount of debt attached to it.  It creates an endless chain cycle of debt that the American people are stuck with.

Also, I heard on the TV News show "Frontline" that a US Dollar can buy nine pounds of rice in North Korea.  I think of what a Dollar can buy in the United States today, and I can't think of much at all.  I guess I could go buy some junk at the Dollar Tree.

I think Money is evil, because it equals power to do something in our society.  But it empowers the rich to do things and keeps the poor down.  And these days it is a worthless piece of paper, a scrap of metal, or a bullshit number in a computer that doesn't really exist.  I think Pink Floyd is right, "Money its a crime..."

I do have an AA degree in "Social and Behavioral Sciences", so maybe I know what I'm talking about and this isn't some bullshit rant.

I also haven't ever burned the American Flag.  But I have no problem with burning a Dollar.  I believe more in the freedom ideals of America than its cruel economy.  I just think that on the planet Earth, Money Matters More Than People...  I hope the Feds don't arrest me for destroying money.  It was my dollar, I earned it.  That is what I chose to do with it, that's what freedom is all about, right?.  I just wanted my dollar's worth of talking about all the unfair greed and corruption there is in this world.  I'm not some rich banker burning a "C" note to light my fancy cigar...
