WW2 stuff not in the book Doughboy to GI 32

I have had the reference book "Doughboy To GI : US Army Clothing And Equipment 1900 - 1945" since I was a kid.  I liked watching old War Movies and was interested in the stuff the soldiers were using.  My Grandfather was also in the Army Air Forces during WW2.  My reference book was mainly just photos of one guy's collection of militaria and didn't have an example of every US Military issued item.  Sometimes I see something not in my extensive reference book.

This set of photos shows two different types of US Military Mess Hall Dinner Wear.  Some ceramic plates were also used by the Military as well.  These metal plates and trays are manufacturer's marked like mess kits and canteens.  The round plate shown here is a Korean War 1952 dated plate.  I have seen plates that looked just like it which were dated 1939.  The Dinner Tray shown here is an Army 1941 dated US Military item.  I also show to the lower right, markings on a similar undated but USN Navy marked Dinner Tray.
